Macross Frontier marks the 25th anniversary of the Macross anime franchise. This story follows the struggles of Alto Saotome and wannabe idolRanka Lee as they reach for their dreams of becoming a pilot and singerrespectively. At the same time pop idolSheryl Nome and her entourage board the Macross Frontier colonization fleet as part of her concert tour. After the war against the Zentradi aliens, Humankind has spread across the universe in order to ensure its survival; but now Man is under threat from an alien species called theVajra.
